1. Agreement to Terms

SipSeek is not a retailer. We do not sell, ship, or distribute alcohol. All purchases are made through independent, licensed third-party retailers. SipSeek has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, transactions between you and third-party retailers.

SipSeek is a discovery tool only. The presence of a product on SipSeek does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation by SipSeek.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SipSeek uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to generate tasting notes, flavor profiles, pairing suggestions, and other product descriptions.

Important limitations of AI-generated content:

  • AI-generated tasting notes are informational and subjective. Actual taste experiences vary by individual.
  • AI descriptions may not perfectly reflect the current formulation of a product, as recipes and production methods may change.
  • SipSeek does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content.
  • AI-generated content should not be used as the sole basis for purchase decisions, especially for high-value or rare bottles.

User reviews and ratings are provided by community members and do not represent the views of SipSeek.

5. Affiliate Links & Commercial Relationships

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding AI-generated content about third-party products and user-submitted reviews) are and will remain the exclusive property of SipSeek.

Our trademarks, service marks, and trade name "SipSeek" may not be used without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, feedback). By submitting content, you grant SipSeek a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

SipSeek does not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Product information (prices, availability, descriptions) is accurate or current
  • AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
  • Results from using the Service will meet your expectations

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIPSEEK EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIPSEEK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Purchases made through affiliate links or third-party retailers
  • Any errors in AI-generated content
  • Any health or safety issues related to alcohol consumption

IN NO EVENT SHALL SIPSEEK'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 USD OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SIPSEEK IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (WHICH, FOR A FREE SERVICE, IS $0).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, South Korea.

If you are located in the EU, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws that these Terms do not supersede.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
